overview
Hariharalaya is a place to learn, grow and be inspired by developing yoga and meditation practice within a community of like-minded people while living in a traditional Cambodian village. The centre is spread over two acres of jungle gardens in the shade of the Ancient Temples of Angkor.
Hariharalaya’s retreat puts emphasis on community, creativity, health, and, of course, yoga and meditation. After a week of living in this rural Cambodian village, you will leave feeling not only at peace with yourself but more in tune with the natural world. Put your mind at ease with the daily meditation practices, digital detox and silent mornings, and learn to listen to your body through the healing art of yoga. The healthy vegan diet and variety of spa treatments heal the body and lighten the soul, and nothing could round this retreat off better than a relaxed bike ride through the local village, where you can experience real Cambodia like never before. The resort observes a Digital Detox as well as Silent Mornings throughout the course. This encourages us to listen more deeply to life and live in the present moment.

location
Prasat Bakong (Temple), NR6, Krong Siem Reap 17000, Cambodia
Part of the magic of Hariharalaya is the opportunity to live in a traditional Cambodian farming village. Located 16 kilometers from Siem Reap, the villagers of Bakong still live a traditional lifestyle – farming with cows, living simply, walking and riding bicycles to the market. The Local Market (Psaa Rolou), just a 5 minute walk away, dates back over 150 years and remains the central market for over 50 surrounding villages.
