From six-bed dormitories to your own private bamboo hut, Hariharalaya offers accommodation for a range of budgets and personal preferences. All accommodation is built using locally sourced materials, and all beds come with a mosquito net.

Planning a retreat with friends? Book into the six-bed dormitory, a large, friendly space for the more social butterflies. Want a bit more privacy? The twin huts offer a more personal space shared with one other guest. The open-air bungalows are perfect for the more adventurous types out there: fall asleep to the sounds of the night, and wake up to fresh morning breezes every day. Private rooms are available as well with two singles or one double bed, and nothing is more cosy or romantic than the bamboo retreat hut, with its perfect couple getaway feel.

Hariharalaya prides itself on its clean, all-vegan menu of Cambodian and Khmer classics.

At Hariharalaya, food is a way of participating in the great Cycle of Life. Hariharalaya’s colourful, seasonal vegan ingredients lend themselves beautifully to Cambodian cuisine, and the nutritious fruity breakfasts and afternoon and daily meals packed with a healthy dose of local vegetables and optimal carbohydrates (brown rice and rice pasta among them) will leave your body feeling stronger and more balanced.

Guests also get to take the delicious vegan meals at Hariharalaya home with them, in the form of a free electronic copy of our own cookbook – Hariharalaya: Cooking with Consciousness. With over 90 of our favourite Cambodian and International vegan recipes including high-quality colour photos, it is the perfect way to continue the health kick back home.

location

Prasat Bakong (Temple), NR6, Krong Siem Reap 17000, Cambodia

Part of the magic of Hariharalaya is the opportunity to live in a traditional Cambodian farming village. Located 16 kilometers from Siem Reap, the villagers of Bakong still live a traditional lifestyle – farming with cows, living simply, walking and riding bicycles to the market. The Local Market (Psaa Rolou), just a 5 minute walk away, dates back over 150 years and remains the central market for over 50 surrounding villages.
